Hey Parents and Teachers!

Welcome to Littlescribe

Littlescribe inspires and motivates kids to bring their storytelling to life. We believe every child is an author, with a story ready to be written and shared. Our writing programs for primary and high school are designed by teachers. With rich resources to support teachers and engage students, all programs are connected to curriculum.

Create a digital portfolio using handwriting, illustrations or typing. Stories become digital or printed books, calendars and cards and can be shared with family, friends, your class and our global library!

If your child is working from home or in the classroom, they can become a Littlescribe author – let’s get started!

Littlescribe users say it best

"The best part about Oliver Phommavanh's books is the comedy! I like that he is very funny and his books contain a lot of comedy and rib-tickling jokes. His books are hilarious and make my friends and I laugh."

Sahil aged 10
Student, Wentworthville PS

"In my 20 years of teaching, I have never seen a literacy program have such an impact."

Becky Ward
Pod Leader, Koputaroa School, NZ

"We chose Oliver as our Co-author as many children are familiar with his books. His story grabbed the attention of the teachers... we are excited to extend student writing skills through this great project."

Melinda Hall
Teacher Librarian, Wentworthville PS

Frequently asked questions

Yes you can. We can help you choose co-author projects to address writing needs, topics and themes, project-based learning focus, novel studies or areas of interest. Our projects are targeted at different age groups and include customisable teaching programs.

Tip: Use the wish list to create a shortlist to share with colleagues, and we can help refine your choice.

There is no set timing for each project, and this will be dependent on each teacher and class. However, we recommend the co-author projects are implemented into your literacy program, not used as an ‘add-on’, and be treated as a deep learning experience. Therefore, 8-10 weeks would be a suitable time frame.
