United Nations Earth School
120 writing activities for students around the world.
Collaboration: UN Earth School is a collaboration with UNEP, Ted-Ed, National Geographic and UNESCO, launched via the TED-Ed platform on 22nd April (Earth Day). Children and adults all over the world take part in a 30 day journey, completing quests that connect us to Earth and nature.
Littlescribe: Children access Littlescribe’s tools and resources to create and bring to life their very own
Earth School project. It can be shared with family, friends and the world in Littlescribe’s digital library. Includes free curriculum-linked resources created by the Littlescribe team. With content inspiration from TED-Ed, National Geographic, PBS, Disney, WWF and BBC, all resources are available from within the Littlescribe platform.

The Co-author Program
40+ writing programs connected to the curriculum.
Collaboration: The world-first Littlescribe signature initiative connects twenty trusted authors including Jackie French, Tristan Bancks and Littlescribe Ambassador Andrew Daddo with Littlescribe to inspire and motivate student storytelling.
Littlescribe: Teachers access a comprehensive, 10-lesson writing program linked to the curriculum, including, worksheets and on-demand and live videos with the author of choice. Authors provide 2 pages of published and/or original work, we call a story starter. Students take the baton and write the rest of the story to become credited ‘co-authors’ of a published book. Students engage in online writing workshops from school or home to be inspired, motivated and supported to write. Connect with a literacy expert to learn more. Full List of Programs Here

Teacher Writing Toolkit
450+ writing activities free until 30th June 2020
Littlescribe: A Littlescribe initiative, these writing activities can be assigned as independent, stand-alone lessons, can form part of a weekly series of writing lessons, or can be taught in the physical or virtual classroom guided by the curriculum-linked lesson plans.
Visual prompts and short videos are used to ignite imaginative, informative and persuasive writing for K/F/Prep to Year 10. All activities can be digitally assigned to students or printed.

Programs to Support Trauma
50 age-appropriate writing activities covering drought fire and soon Covid-19
Collaboration: Littlescribe and Emerging Minds have curated a toolkit of resources for teachers supporting children impacted by bushfire, drought, flood or Covid-19. Emerging Minds leads the National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health in Australia.
Littlescribe: Teachers choose from 50 age-appropriate writing activities including videos, fact sheets and support resources for parents. This program is free for school and parents. Click Here

Creative Home Toolkits

Littlescribe: This is a Littlescribe initiative designed for parents with children at home.
Including three activity toolkits, for primary and high school, children can access writing, visual prompts, original and published work and videos from Australia’s leading authors and illustrators to inspire their storytelling and turn them into books, calendars, cards and posters.
