The live sessions are a school event only, due to the complexity of managing privacy and security.
All videos are recorded and made available on demand as part of the Home Schoolers Education Kit. Home schoolers receive the same educational resources as schools.
Registrations are open. The earlier you register, the longer you have access to all the resources.
There will be downloadable lesson resources for each session with pre and post-workshop activities.
Pre-recorded workshop videos are available on demand until the end of Term 2. A series of approximately 100 micro-videos will be available until the end of Term 4. These are 3-5 minute highlight videos pulled from each full workshop. They can be used to reinforce skills.

No, you can pick and choose which sessions to attend. Each session can be viewed as a stand-alone learning moment.
Yes, you can attend all sessions. We recommend you attend sessions that are aligned to your student's capabilities and learning focus.
Once you have your login details, you'll have access to all the resources as they are released. The Mini-Writing Festival dashboard provides a summary of when the resources will be released.
Students should bring pens, pencils, paper white boards and imagination!
The Student Writing Journal is a useful resource to use before, during and after the workshop.
You can email questions for the authors to [email protected]. Make sure you include student name and hometown.
An online space for students to share original writing. All Littlescribe participants can opt in to view others’ work and share their own. Access the Story Starter Wall and be inspired! Access the Story Starter wall.
The student’s piece of work, the student’s first name only and the person they would like to read their writing.
Work is submitted by the teacher and reviewed by Littlescribe before making it live.

Yes. Home schoolers can access both primary and high school workshops.
