Visual storytelling is powerful. It is a way to explore, expand, and express the creative kid in all of us.





Peta Morris is a multi-disciplinary artist who is the brain child of The Kid Creative. She is a painter, drawer, sculptor, writer and a singer songwriter. Her art work was chosen to be hung in the 2011 Sulman Prize at The Art Gallery of NSW, and her music career saw her win, ARIA, MTV and gold records for her work with music producer Paulmac. Peta designs and teaches term-based programs for primary aged students and workshops for community organisations and art galleries.

Description
Peta Morris has provided a visual arts lesson that inspires an exploration of birds, animals and their environments. Description
Peta Morris has provided a visual arts lesson that inspires an exploration of Australian native plants and their environments. Through dye making, drawing and painting, students will create illustrations to be used in their co-created books. Students are encouraged to create a factual botanical book based on the native plants of their areas.
